The house is near the town of Montpon-Menesterol, on the north bank of the River Isle.
By Air
Only one hour east of Bordeaux airport (flights from Gatwick, Bristol and other parts of UK). Only 45 minutes from Bergerac (flights from Stansted, Southampton, Bristol, Birmingham and other parts of UK).
From the Calais and Boulogne area
Leave the A20/N20 at Limoges and head south west on the N21 signposted Perigueux. At Perigueux, head west on the N89 to Montpon-Menesterol.
From the Caen, St Malo and Cherbourg direction
Leave the A10 at exit 37, 45km after Saintes, near Mirambeau. Travel through Mirambeau and take the D730 through Montendre, across the N10 near Montlieu, through Montguyon and la Roche-Chalais. The road continues to Montpon-Menesterol.
From Tours and Poitiers direction
Leave the A10 at exit 20 on the south west edge of Poitiers. Take the N10 signposted Angouleme. Keep on the A10, signposted Bordeaux, avoiding the busy Angouleme city centre. At Barbezieux, turn left onto the D731 to Chalais and la Roche-Chalais, where you pick up the D730. Follow it , across the N10 near Montlieu, through Montguyon and la Roche-Chalais. The road continues to Montpon-Menesterol.
From Bordeaux direction
Take the A89 heading east and take the exit just to the south of Montpon-Menesterol.
