| 16 Aug 11 | The Thompsons | Just to let you know that we had a fabulous week (best weather for a number of years!)We all loved your property, I think it has a unique character. Some firsts, the best stocked/equipped kitchen, the warmest pool and the nicest grounds I think we have stayed in ever!(over many years!)I agree Montpon is a typical french small town which made a refreshing change as we have tended to go for village life in recent years. Everything you could possibly want was at hand. Many thanks for everything. |
| Claire, Steve & family of 3 boys 7-14 Aug 2010 | We all thoroughly enjoyed staying in your lovely home. It surpassed our expectations and was a real home and very cosy. We loved the pool and the beautiful views. The children were delighted to find Scrabble and enjoyed playing table tennis. It was so relaxing and peaceful - the complete opposite of our time in Paris! We were rgular visitors to your recommended bakery and adored their croissants au beurre. We had picnics and went sightseeing a little but the children just wanted to get back to the pool. We recommend and would stay there again. |
Coming to your house makes your guests happy!! The fabulous gate, the beautiful lane to the house, and the house itself with the characteristic tower. Not to forget the pond, with all the fish, and the garden. It is great! You have a wonderful kitchen, with a lot of equipment. We have used it and enjoyed it, and we are very grateful because the kitchen seems to be used and to be designed by people that like to prepare food. These remarks also count for the grill. Fantastic pool, absolutely! We can guarantee you, that we recommend the area to all people that want to hear about it, and we have some impressing pictures of the house. We would also like to visit your house again ourselves. Communicating with you has been a great pleasure – very great!

Just a brief note to say how much we enjoyed your wonderful villa in Marcillac. I hope that we shall be able to revisit it again, hopefully for a two week break next time. Michael ended up in the tower which he loved and we all enjoyed the poll and BBQ area. Apart from one evening, we just lived outside. It was super. I enjoyed wandering around the pond watching the fish and the frogs. It was also good in that we were each able to find our own space when we wanted peace and quiet. I think we all noticed the lack of that when we moved on!We tried to leave everything in order and left more charcoal for the BBQ and a couple of additions to the library! Fantastic kitchen with loads of utensils. We mainly did our own cooking at the villa. The place is very good overall. Would stay aain and recommend to friends. from The Kirks 28 Jun - 5 Jul 2008
Absolutely first class. The best pool I have used for years and we swam every day. We liked the character of the house and would have loved to have met the original Architect! The mature gardens/trees and lawn area were first class and the house is well set back in the plot which adds to privacy. The outdoor dining area and BBQ were a real bonus which we enjoyed. Would stay there again and recommend to friends. from David & Marion 14 - 28 Jun 2008
A very lovely house and we had a nice stay with our children. We loved the pool and gardens and some of our best days were out playing games (hide and seek) with all that space. The other thing we really enjoyed was adventuring in the trees in the garden. It was a really magnificent place to relax in the sun, in peace and privacy. Our girls went riding quite a few times locally in St Meard. We left brochure behind as family were so friendly and flexible about timing. You really do have a lovely place. Would stay again and recommend to friends. from Kirsty & family (2 adults & 3 children) 18 Aug - 1 Sep 2007
